Overseas Campus 2016
The second edition of the Overseas Campus brought together more 3000 ultramarine students, Saturday 03 September 2016, in the Gardens of the Ministry of Overseas, Oudinot Street in Paris. It was the new Minister of Overseas France, Ericka Bareigts, who welcomed the many guests.

The Maison de Saint-Martin and the association Pélicarus have, once again, pooled their resources to participate in this event, with the common objective of providing logistical assistance to young Saint-Martinois who are studying in the hexagon. Many exchanges have taken place, particularly with young people looking for training or answers to their expectations.
A dozen conferences and workshops were held in the amphitheatres of the ministry, on topics as varied as "marketing of self to sell better", "international mobility to leave on stage" or " A curriculum vitae and a letter of motivation ". Two Saint-Martinoises were able to intervene at these conferences.
Chantal Hyman, psychologist and member of Pelicarus Toulouse, intervened on the well-being of young people in Metropolitan France. She was able to provide practical advice on how to approach the first grade. Milkaya Laïjah designer graduated in 2007 in design and modeling from the School of Fashion Arts and Techniques (ESMOD Paris) presented his atypical career, projects and experience as an ultramarine living in Paris. She was able to inspire young people.
This year again, Saint-Martin has distinguished itself brilliantly on this 2016 campus. Indeed, Philippe Phillidor, a graduate of the School of Law at the Sorbonne (Mayor of his promotion) and a graduate of a master's degree in finance obtained at Sciences Po Paris, has been awarded the 3 ocean prize. Philippe is currently a lawyer at the Ecole du Barreau in Paris, his exemplary career and his perseverance impressed the jury. The young man received his award from Minister Ericka Bareigts who warmly congratulated him.
In 2015, during the 1 edition, Fosta Lalanne from Saint-Martin, a graduate of Sciences Po, was awarded the first edition of the Campus Outre-Mer.
The community of Saint-Martin wishes to congratulate these deserving students, who represent the territory brilliantly and whose exemplary journey is synonymous with hope for Saint-Martin's youth.
