The Saint-Martin community organizes Blue Week every year, designed to promote actions for retirees and elderly people in the territory. This year, the theme of the event is "I love my heart, I'm moving! ", Words that reflect the importance of regular activity to preserve one's health.

Monday 03 October, the launch of the blue week at the EHPAD Bethany Home brought together all actors working for the welfare of the elderly in Saint Martin. In addition to a reminder of the year's actions for our seniors and the needs of the area in this sector, Vice-President Ramona Connor and EHPAD Director Jean-Marie Marchais paid tribute to the Islanders "who are the pillar of our families," said the vice-president.
Blue Week is again planning a very fine program of activities, with a conference entitled "Preparing for retirement" on Tuesday, 04 October, 17h30 (CCISM), to which the general public is invited to attend.
On Wednesday, October 05, an information stand on the cure will be installed in the lobby of the hotel of the community to inform the public about the possibilities of cure. At 17h, it is an intergenerational zumba session awaiting the public on the place of the kiosk of the Marigot Waterfront.
Thursday 06 October, Bethany Home seniors and residents are invited to a breakfast at the Beach Hotel in Marigot.
Saturday 08 October, entertainment and games for the elders will be organized on the beach of the Friar's Bay Beach Café, in partnership with the association Rambaud St Louis.
