Local Urban Plan

Documents available to the population in neighborhoods
As part of the consultation on the development of the Local Planning Plan (PLU) of Saint-Martin, the Collectivity provides the population with the documents (Plan de Zonage, synthesis of the PLU regulations) constituting the PLU Project , In the neighborhood councils and on the Internet site of the Community.
These documents can already be consulted in the District Councils.
They are intended to enable the population to become aware of the progress of the project and the major options that will be proposed through the Zoning.
Persons who wish to do so may submit observations, comments or requests in connection with the general PLU project in the accompanying register.
However, the PLU is set to evolve and a new consultation will be organized in a few months. These documents are therefore not final, they simply testify to the degree of development of the PLU project.
The register is therefore intended for the general observations which the population wishes to make.
NOTE: Only the elements of the set (zoning, regulation) will be taken into account. Special requests concerning private properties can only be processed by appointment with the Urban Planning Department (05 90 52 27 30), or by mail addressed to the Collectivité.
We remind you that it is also possible to consult the documents of the PLU project on the website of the Collectivité: (Environment and Urbanism tab).

2014-10-05 Guide "Doing Business in Saint-Martin"
Investor's Guide ?? Doing business in Saint-Martin ??

First very encouraging feedback

Last July, Mrs Aline Hanson, President of the Territorial Council, had the opportunity to present to the local and regional press the "Doing business in Saint-Martin" investor's guide summarizing the assets of the Community and highlighting Its tax system, which in many respects appears very attractive to companies. This presentation, which was widely covered by the media, attracted a great deal of interest from economic actors, many of whom came to the tax division to withdraw a copy of the guide or to present their investment project. It is important to note that these requests come from both French and foreign stakeholders and, as the community wished, do not exclusively concern the tourism sector.
At the same time, each presentation in which the Community participated gave a presentation of this guide by Mrs. Jeanne Rogers-Vanterpool, Territorial Consultant, President of the Tourist Board (NABHOOD in Miami, and Meeting of World Tourism Cities In Beijing). While it is obviously illusory to expect concrete achievements in the very short term, given the time required to develop serious projects, these contacts and initial returns are very encouraging and confirm the position of the President of the Territorial Council in its strategy To make our territory better known: Saint-Martin must become, in the minds of decision-makers, a choice of implantation possible, whatever the sector of activity. Today, this strategy is continuing and will even increase by the end of the year. The largest tax law firms have just received the Investor's Guide, which should in principle give rise to The publication of articles in specialized journals.
Similarly, Saint-Martin should be referenced as an autonomous tax jurisdiction in international tax comparisons. In addition, the French Federation of Banks, the French Federation of Insurance Companies, CGPME and MEDEF are now aware that the Community of Saint Martin offers investors not only great legal and financial security but also an attractive tax environment . Finally, an interactive format of the guide has just been posted on the Internet site of the Community.
Users can now enjoy high-quality screen playback, search for specific items, make targeted impressions of the document, and even share the guide via email or social networks. The objective by the end of the year is to multiply the communication operations around this guide by relying, as appropriate, on certain economic titles of the national press and by implementing a strategy of communication to the " International, following on from the first contacts made at the fairs already mentioned.
