The Community of Saint-Martin exercises the competences devolved to the regions with regard to vocational training. Its mission is to develop its Territorial Professional Training Program (PTFP) on an annual or multiannual basis in consultation with the main institutional and professional partners of the territory.
The PTFP training activities must respond to the needs of the territory, the economic needs of businesses and the social demands of the population.
So it is with great pleasure that I present to you the 2015 / 2016 PTFP which proposes 27 training actions starting remobilization actions (upgrading) and going up to qualification level IV (Professional Title) And III (Bac + 2).
These training activities are co-financed by the Saint Martin Community and Europe (European Social Fund) within the framework of the economic and social cohesion policy.
In this booklet you will find practical information (list of training activities, access to training, rights and obligations of the trainee in vocational training, classification of training levels, etc ...). I invite you to get closer to the training centers or the Directorate of Employment, Learning and Vocational Training of the Community, for any additional information about the proposed actions.
Finally, I would like to encourage the young people of this territory to take charge of their future and not to hesitate to undertake the enrollment in a training course in accordance with their professional project.
The Collectivité has made a strong commitment by helping young people and young job seekers in their training path.
Indeed, Men are the raw materials of all economic development. Working for the harmonious development of our island means putting training at the service of our economy.
