Image Passers initiative: Screening of the film Zion!

As part of the first deployment of the national "Passeurs d'images" scheme in the territory of Saint-Martin, the associations ANIS and ALEFPA, both selected for the implementation of the scheme, organised a screening of the film "ZION" shot in Guadeloupe, for the young people participating in the scheme and the general public.

This screening was a great success with over a hundred people in attendance. The session was held in the presence of several elected officials of the Collectivité : the 3rd Vice-President, Mrs. Dominique Démocrite Louisy, the President of the Culture Committee, Mrs. Valérie Damaseau, the President of the Local Mission and President of the Youth Committee, Mr. Raphael Sanchez, as well as the territorial councilors, Mrs. Martine Beldor and Mrs. Bernadette Venthou-Dumaine.

The film's producer, Axel Lafleur, and lead actor Sloan Descombes were also present as surprise guests, much to the delight of the audience.

The screening was followed by a special discussion with the young people, led by the producer and the main actor, allowing them to address the themes addressed by the film.

This moment of dialogue fully illustrated the objectives of the "Passeurs d'images" program, combining the discovery of films with encounters with film professionals.
