The Collectivité de Saint-Martin, represented by its First Vice-President Alain Richardson, welcomed, this Friday, June 13, the Prefect Cyrille Le Vely, the Director of EDF Archipel Guadeloupe, Marie-Line Bassette and their respective teams, as well as representatives of the territory&#39;s economic institutions and organizations, CCISM, CESC, MEDEF, Tourism Club, architects, in order to discuss the sensitive issue of energy production and the difficulties encountered in Saint-Martin since September 2024, concerning electricity production.

A delegation from Saint-Martin, led by 2nd Vice-President Bernadette DAVIS, participated in the Seminar on Aquatic Environments and Flood Prevention (MAPI) organized in Guadeloupe by the Regional Council and the Department of the Environment, Planning and Housing (DEAL). This event helped to strengthen understanding of the issues related to aquatic environment management and flood prevention.

In line with the international COP on climate change, the Conference of the Parties in Saint-Martin produced its roadmap for 2030. This work made it possible to identify local issues in order to find joint solutions for the territory.
