Proposal for an information meeting: General Directorate of Public Finances of Saint-Martin
Saint Martin LogoINFORMATION MEETING - TAXATION AND MOBILITY
On June 9th, the "Taxation & Youth Mobility" information meeting was held at the CCISM, both in person and online.
Key information to remember:
Income tax returns are mandatory for everyone, residents and non-residents alike. Non-resident students must also declare their income from Saint Martin sources.
In Saint-Martin, tax procedures are not done like in mainland France: no 13-digit tax number, paper declaration.
The tax assessment notice is essential for many procedures, including DSE/CROUS, APL, LADOM and other assistance.
After 18 years, tax attachment is not automatic.
Young people's income does not all follow the same rules: student jobs, internships, apprenticeships and professional training contracts must be examined according to their nature.
The tax return period is over. For any further information, please contact the Saint-Martin Public Finance Centre.
