CTJsm's 2026 New Year's Greetings: Angèle BROCHÉ (Interim President)
Saint Martin Logo2026: A year of commitment and passing on knowledge to the youth of Saint-Martin
Dear young people of Saint-Martin,
At the start of 2026 , on behalf of the Territorial Youth Council (CTJsm), I wish to extend to you my warmest wishes for success, health and boldness.
The past year has proven that our voice matters and that our commitment can make a difference. We have acted on all fronts:
- At the national level: During our trip to the Senate in June 2025, our exercise on amending a housing amendment was unanimously adopted by the delegations present. This proves that the youth of Saint Martin know how to persuade and influence decisions.
- For your success: With the Dej'First initiative, we were there for you outside the Daniella Jeffry middle and high schools to support you during the Brevet and Baccalaureate exams, in partnership with the Caisse Territoriale des Œuvres Scolaires (CTOS). 900 breakfast kits were distributed to help you concentrate.
- Out of solidarity: Thanks to the "1 Toy, 1 Smile" campaign, we brought a little Christmas magic to hospitalized children at Louis-Constant Fleming Hospital, in partnership with the Lil'HOPE Pediatrics association. Thanks to the community's generosity, we were able to bring smiles to more than thirty children .
- For our identity: We strengthened cooperation with our counterparts from the Sint-Maarten Youth Parliament during the debate on the Treaty of Concordia, in partnership with IoTv.
Today, we are 15 members still mobilized, including 3 who actively support us from their places of study in France.
2026 is a very important year for all of us. Our term will end next April . If you are between 14 and 25 years old and want to be a force for change on your island, get ready! The 8th CTJsm is waiting for you.
I would like to thank the Collectivité of Saint-Martin for its constant support and the Youth Department which supports us on a daily basis in carrying out our missions, as well as the Head of Protocol and the Department of Cultural Action for their valuable collaboration.
Stay connected on our social media channels, application information is coming very soon.
Happy New Year 2026 to all. Make Saint-Martin shine!
