Temporary closure of parking lots

As part of the organization of the monthly practical driving test examinations, attention is drawn to Motorists and local residents:

· from the Sandy-Ground/Morne Rond area :

The Albéric RICHARDS stadium car park will be closed between 7:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2025 , for the motorcycle platform events.

As such, training operations will be carried out from Tuesday, January 20, 2025 , in order to prepare and train candidates for the exams.

The Territorial Police services will ensure that they raise awareness, monitor and alert motorists and residents of these provisions, in order to avoid obstructive parking;

On Wednesday, January 21, 2025 , any vehicle parked illegally will be moved at the expense and cost of its owner, by the services and agents of the Territorial Police.

· from the Galisbay car park sector:

                                    The Galisbay car park is a driving licence examination centre during the week of Monday 19 January to Friday 23 January 2025.

As such, from January 19 to January 23, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., driving tests are scheduled for the B license (driving of small vehicles).

On Thursday, January 22, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., driving tests are scheduled for the heavy vehicle category of the driving licence (C, D and E licences);

The Territorial Police services will ensure that they raise awareness, monitor and alert motorists and residents of these provisions, in order to avoid obstructive parking;

Any violation will be ticketed and vehicles removed at the owner's expense, in accordance with current regulations and impoundment rates (Resolution No. CE77-21-2014 of July 8, 2014).
