Registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open for preschool and first grade.

The Collectivité of Saint-Martin informs parents of the opening of the Family portal for registrations in nursery school and in preparatory class (CP), from February 25, 2026, for the 2026-2027 school year.

The Collectivité of Saint-Martin is innovating this year with the opening of the Family portal which allows registration exclusively online for nursery school or preparatory course, school catering, school transport and extracurricular activities.

Parents no longer need to travel to the registration office or navigate through the "administrative procedures" section; access to the Family Portal is now direct from the homepage of the Collectivité's website.

To register your child, simply go to the website https://www.comstmartin.fr/ and then click on the tab visible on the homepage, entitled: School Registration: Family Portal or directly on School Registration 2026-2027

Once on this page, parents must create an account and then wait to receive an email with a confirmation code. Afterward, they can register their child(ren) by providing the required information and uploading the necessary documents.

Transfer requests, new enrollments for sibling or residential reasons, applications from new arrivals attending private or other schools, and requests for exemptions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Education Committee and granted subject to availability. In these situations, the application form can be obtained from the School Affairs Department at the Collectivité Annex, former Bord de Mer School, rue de la Liberté in Marigot.

Documents to download for registration:

The application for registration will only be accepted if the file is complete.

Documents concerning the child:

- Photocopy of the family record book or an extract of the birth certificate

- Photocopy of the vaccination pages from the health record (vaccinations must be up to date)

- Medical certificate of fitness for life in a school environment (preschool children not enrolled in school).

- Certificate of deregistration

• In the event of a transfer request or new registration for children already enrolled in school

• In case of a change of public or private school. The form must be obtained from the registration office and the application is reviewed by a committee.

Documents concerning the legal parents: (photocopies)

- Identity document of legal representatives

- Proof of address in the names of the legal representatives, less than 3 months old (EDF or SAUR bills, landline or mobile phone bill, lease agreement, or other administrative documents)

- 2024 tax or non-taxation notice for both parents is mandatory for any registration of children born in 2024.

- If proof of address in the names of the legal representatives is not available, provide a valid address certificate.

- Photocopy of the court judgment for the exercise of parental authority and the identity document of the ascendants or legally responsible persons (in case of separation, divorce )
