" For better mobilization of EU direct and indirect management programs in the French outermost regions"

The OECD, in partnership with the European Commission and under the leadership of the Directorate General for Overseas Territories (DGOM) of the Ministry of Overseas Territories, piloted a two-year project aimed at strengthening the participation of the six French Outermost Regions (ORs) in European programs under direct and indirect management. This project was born from the observation that these programs remain insufficiently mobilized by OR stakeholders, due in particular to a lack of knowledge of the systems and limited engineering capacities.

Among its main results, the OECD has developed a practical and operational toolbox, designed to support and better equip project leaders. This toolbox provides, among other things:

• explanatory sheets by European program;

• a guide for project leaders;

• a directory of National Contact Points (NCPs).

All of these resources are accessible to all stakeholders wishing to better engage in European programs and promote the potential for cooperation in the ORs and therefore in Saint-Martin.
