Renovation of the Grand Case sports complex

The Collectivité of Saint-Martin informs the residents of Grand Case of the start of the renovation work on the Grand Case sports field, starting on July 22, 2026. This work will take place in several phases, the first of which consists of replacing the sports equipment.

Between July 22 and 24, the collectivité will install two new basketball hoops out of the four existing ones, as well as two football/handball goals, which will diversify the sports activities offered to users.

These works will require cutting of the coating, earthmoving and pouring of concrete foundations, with the intervention of construction equipment.

Motorists are asked not to park nearby during the works, in order to allow the operations to proceed smoothly and to leave the passage for construction vehicles.

Pedestrians are asked not to walk on areas where concrete has been freshly poured until the concrete blocks are completely dry.

This work is part of a larger program to renovate the sports field, which will continue in the coming months with the installation of lighting, followed by the complete resurfacing of the flooring.
