Presentation of the device
The Collectivité of Saint-Martin provides financial support to tourist accommodations classified in the "Guest House" category in the form of direct investment aid, supplementing the financing of operations from its own funds and bank resources, with the aim of:
- To promote the maintenance of the quality of this category of accommodation
- To facilitate the renovation of any listed guest house
- To encourage 3-star or higher ratings
Who is eligible?
- Being a Classified Guest House
- Registered with the trade and companies register
- Based in Saint-Martin (French side)
What expenses are eligible?
- Signs (in compliance with current regulations)
- Beautification and refurbishment work on the front of the building (exterior facade of the Guest House)
- Interior renovations: layout work: renovation/replacement of floors, repainting, changing light fixtures, lighting, furniture…
- Exterior improvements: renovation/repainting of the facade, renovation/replacement of sign and facade lighting, exterior furniture and decorative elements, replacement/renovation of awnings, security blinds and roller shutters
- Security systems: alarms and cameras inside the Guest House
How to submit your application?

Case follow-up
You will receive confirmation of receipt of your request and a summary by email.
The processing department will request additional documents or information from you, if necessary, directly through the single point of contact.
Once the file is complete, it is presented to the Committee on Rural and Tourism Economic Affairs for its opinion.
Next, the case is presented to the Executive Council (the sole decision-making body).
You will be notified of the decision.
