The Collectivité of Saint-Martin provides financial support to tourist accommodations classified in the "Guest House" category in the form of direct investment aid, supplementing the financing of operations from its own funds and bank resources, with the aim of:

• To promote the maintenance of the quality of this category of accommodation
• To facilitate the renovation of any listed guest house
• To encourage 3-star or higher ratings

• Being a Classified Guest House
• Registered with the trade and companies register
• Based in Saint-Martin (French side)

• Signs (in compliance with current regulations)
• Beautification and refurbishment work on the front of the building (exterior facade of the Guest House)
• Interior renovations: layout work: renovation/replacement of floors, repainting, changing light fixtures, lighting, furniture…
• Exterior improvements: renovation/repainting of the facade, renovation/replacement of sign and facade lighting, exterior furniture and decorative elements, replacement/renovation of awnings, security blinds and roller shutters
• Security systems: alarms and cameras inside the Guest House

• Proof of address

• A KBIS extract less than 3 months old,
• A copy of the decree classifying the property as a Guest House
• The registered articles of association of the company in the case of a capital company (SA, SARL, SAS, EURL),
• A bank account statement,
• Balance sheet and income statement for the two previous fiscal years,
• Supporting documents demonstrating the company's compliance with its tax and social obligations (income tax, corporation tax, TGCA, employee and employer social security contributions, tourist tax, etc.).
• A letter of commitment to maintain operations for 5 years
• Declaration of other aid received during the 3 previous fiscal years and the current fiscal year (De minimis aid certificate).
• All documents attesting to the owner's agreement in the event of separate operation.

Investment file and project

• Letter requesting funding addressed to the President of the Collectivité of Saint-Martin, signed by the person authorized to commit the organization requesting financial assistance for your project.
• All quotes related to investments (less than 3 months old)

You will receive confirmation of receipt of your request and a summary by email.

The processing department will request additional documents or information from you, if necessary, directly through the single point of contact.

Once the file is complete, it is presented to the Committee on Rural and Tourism Economic Affairs for its opinion.

Next, the case is presented to the Executive Council (the sole decision-making body).

You will be notified of the decision.
