Presentation of the GREEN UP system

This investment support scheme for the agricultural sector and rural areas aims to support the structuring of the agricultural sector in the territory but also to contribute to the creation of the conditions necessary to achieve, in the long term, local food self-sufficiency.

Who is eligible?

Agricultural operators or businesses:

Registered in the agricultural register, the trades register or the commercial and companies register

Based in Saint-Martin (French side)

Regardless of their legal form

Working in the agriculture and livestock sector

As a primary or secondary occupation

What expenses are eligible?

The construction/modernization of agricultural holdings for the purposes of modernizing or securing livestock farming

Investments in modernizing wastewater and effluent management

Investments related to water collection and/or storage (drilling and well creation / water reservoir) - individual or collective means of rainwater storage)

Investments related to protection against or reduction of the impact of climatic and seismic hazards

Investments contributing to the development of short supply chains (direct sales, street vending, etc.)

Investments enabling the development of agro-environmental or resource-efficient practices (aquaponics, hydroponics)

Investments in collective equipment (pigsty, honey house, storage capacity, etc.)

The creation/reinforcement of fences

The acquisition of agricultural equipment

Intangible investments (software, patents, etc.)

How to submit your application?

One-stop shop for assistance from the Collectivité of Saint-Martin

Case follow-up

You will receive confirmation of receipt of your request and a summary by email.

The processing department will request additional documents or information from you, if necessary, directly through the single point of contact.

Once the file is complete, it is presented to the Committee on Rural and Tourism Economic Affairs for its opinion.

Next, the case is presented to the Executive Council (the sole decision-making body).

You will be notified of the decision.
