MON BEAU COMMERCE scheme: support for the renovation of shops

Presentation of the device
This investment aid scheme aims to support the renovation and beautification of shop fronts as well as the rehabilitation of signs and all interior development work for any company occupying a commercial space throughout the territory of Saint-Martin.
Who is eligible?
- To be a company established in the territory of Saint-Martin
- To be a company registered with the Trade Directory or the Companies Register
- Having a commercial property in the territory of Saint-Martin
- To be up-to-date with social and tax obligations
Who is not eligible?
- Companies whose annual turnover exceeds 500,000 euros excluding VAT
- Real estate agencies
- The liberal professions
- Pharmacies and paramedical professions
- Accommodation facilities (hotels, guest houses, etc.): other support schemes are offered by the collectivité for these facilities
What expenses are eligible?
- Signs (in compliance with current regulations)
- Beautification and refurbishment work on the storefront (exterior facade of the commercial premises)
- Interior renovations: Layout work: Renovation/replacement of floors, repainting, replacement of light fixtures, lighting, furniture…
- Exterior improvements: Renovation/replacement of the shop window and openings (repainting of the commercial facade, renovation/replacement of the sign, renovation/replacement of the sign and facade lighting, exterior furniture and decorative elements, replacement/renovation of awnings, security blinds and roller shutters)
- Security systems: alarms and indoor cameras inside the commercial premises
- Equipment for catering and beverage establishments: cooking equipment, beverage equipment and refrigeration equipment (excluding small equipment / kitchen utensils)

Case follow-up
- You will receive confirmation of receipt of your request and a summary by email.
- The processing department will request additional documents or information from you, if necessary, directly through the single point of contact.
- Once the file is complete, it is presented to the Committee on Rural and Tourism Economic Affairs for its opinion.
- Next, the case is presented to the Executive Council (the sole decision-making body).
- You will be notified of the decision.
