Presentation of the fund
The territorial aid fund for the audiovisual and film sector of the Collectivité of Saint-Martin is a structuring mechanism put in place with the support of the National Center for Cinema and Animated Images (CNC), aimed at boosting the local ecosystem of audiovisual and film creation.
This fund aims to promote the emergence of new talents, the production of quality works, the structuring of the sector, the enhancement of the cultural heritage of Saint-Martin as well as the attractiveness of the territory.
What support mechanisms are available?
The regional aid fund for the audiovisual and film sector is divided into several mechanisms designed to support project leaders at each stage of their creative and professional journey:
- Selective aid for development
- Selective aid for the production of short works
- Selective aid for the production of feature-length films
- Selective aid for the production of audiovisual works
- Selective aid for promotion
List of supporting documents
Administrative documents
- Legal representative's identity document
- Proof of address of the legal representative
- Extract from the Trade and Companies Register (Kbis) less than 3 months old
- Registered articles of association of the company in the case of a capital company (SA, SARL, SAS, EURL)
- Balance sheet and income statement for year N-1
- Balance sheet and income statement for year N-2
- Supporting documents demonstrating the company's compliance with its tax obligations
- Supporting documents demonstrating the company's compliance with its social obligations
Project documents
- Letter requesting funding addressed to the President of the Territorial Council, signed by the person authorized to commit the organization requesting financial assistance for the project
- Tentative development schedule
- Quotes for the main expense categories
- CV of the producer(s)
- Director's CV
- CV of the author(s)
- Filmography of the director and/or production company
- Long synopsis
- Producer's note from the general presentation of the project
- Statement of intent for implementation
- Supporting documents for other public or private funding requested
- Proof of the development contract with a broadcaster or distributor
- Option agreement or rights assignment agreement for the work
- Statement of intent outlining the planned development work
- Copy of the co-production contract(s)

How to submit your application?

One-stop shop for assistance from the Collectivité of Saint-Martin
Case follow-up
- You will receive confirmation of receipt of your request and a summary by email.
- The processing department will request additional documents or information from you, if necessary, directly through the single point of contact.
- Once the file is complete, it is presented to the Reading Committee and then to the Committee on Rural and Tourism Economic Affairs for its opinion.
- Next, the case is presented to the Executive Council (the sole decision-making body).
- You will be notified of the decision.
