Note : The mandatory exchange of the pink driving licence (paper format) will not take place until 19 January 2033.

The replacement of the 3-panel folding license is only necessary if your driving licence is damaged, deteriorated or expired.

To exchange your driving licence you will need to prove at least one year of residence in the territory of the Collectivité of Saint-Martin and your driving rights must be valid.

Important : The Collectivité of Saint Martin maintains a local driver's license database that is not connected to the national database. Therefore, driver's license applications submitted through the ANTS (National Agency for Secure Documents) using Saint Martin addresses cannot be processed.

For your information : exchanging your national license for a local license does not exempt you from losing points if you commit offences on the national territory outside of the Collectivité of Saint Martin.
