Presentation of the device
Through this scheme, the Collectivité supports companies in their initial approach to a new market in the overseas territories, in metropolitan France or internationally by encouraging their participation in collective actions aimed at developing new export business opportunities.
This system aims to:
- Promoting "Made in Saint-Martin" and the specific characteristics of products/services originating from the territory
- Supporting companies in implementing their export strategy
- Encourage partnerships between local businesses and those in targeted areas to strengthen economic synergies
- Identify and create opportunities to meet with distributors, sales agents, local buyers, or institutions in the targeted markets.
Eligible companies
- To be registered in the Trade Directory or the Companies Register
- Applicants must demonstrate at least one year of activity at the time of submitting the grant application, except in the case of a business takeover.
- To be up-to-date with their social and tax obligations
- Having its headquarters and a significant part of its activity in Saint-Martin
Eligible projects
Companies present an export development project that is in line with the territory targeted by the action and the purpose of the latter, consistent with their international positioning, e.g. financial capacity, internal skills dedicated to internationalization, certifications or accreditations related to the targeted markets.
The first three participations of a company in the same collective action market in overseas territories, mainland France or internationally are eligible.
Eligible collective actions can take the following forms:
- Participation in collective pavilions or stands at trade fairs,
- Thematic prospecting missions outside the territory, which may include upstream support.
- organizing a schedule of appointments with prospective clients and following up on these business contacts,
- Organizing business meetings or meetings of buyers outside Europe outside the territory,
Only operations with a minimum of three companies from the territory are eligible.
Examples: Participation in the Paris Fair, Participation in the agricultural show, etc…
Eligible expenses
The following expenses are eligible for the scheme:
- To rent a stand
- At the preparation costs
- Travel expenses
- At the cost of communication
- Logistics and storage costs

Case follow-up
- You will receive confirmation of receipt of your request and a summary by email.
- The processing department will request additional documents or information from you, if necessary, directly through the single point of contact.
- Once the file is complete, it is presented to the Reading Committee and then to the Committee on Rural and Tourism Economic Affairs for its opinion.
- Next, the case is presented to the Executive Council (the sole decision-making body).
- You will be notified of the decision.
